When staging your home to sell put yourself in the buyer’s shoes! Walk through your house and see it through the buyer’s eyes.. What would your first impression be? First impressions are VERY IMPORTANT!
Clear all clutter from all rooms. Clean, clean, clean! Patch and paint where needed. Clean carpets, vacuum, mop, dust! Replace burned out light bulbs. Clean windows and window sills. Make sure all rooms are odor free! If you have added extra stand alone storage, take it out. You do not want buyers to think there is NOT ENOUGH storage!
Go around the outside and make any repairs needed. Plant some flowers-make the very first look IMPRESSIVE!
